Marcus is a short, well-read boy who has always been something of a nerd. Generally looked down upon at the Farraday Academy, he is an upbeat if nervous but brilliant student who ranks among the most promising of all the students in with an English concentration. He believes firmly in those things that he cannot prove, and sees possibility everywhere.

Victoria Rosewood

Concentration: Literature/Music

Style: Ironic ghetto fab

Victoria seems to be universally liked, and seems to float freely between all groups and cliques. She has an enourmous collection of music, and is well known for being able to fit any situation with a song at a moment’s notice.  She is marvelously good-natured and witty, though once she is pushed she can remain angry for quite a while.

Summer Vargas

Concentration: Science

Style: Stuff she found

There is little that can hold Summer’s attention for very long, and it seems often that she is impossibly mellow. She has never been known to refuse an illicit substance, and in fact seems to be in an almost perpetually altered state, though   she still manages to do alright  in school. She is an artist at heart, but her experiences have given here a fantastic base in chemistry, which is by far her best class. Her constant substance usage hides a secret; when she is not using, she has terrible, vivid dreams in which she sees events before they happen.

Jessica Beauregard

Concentration: Math

Style: Conservative but classy

A small, quiet girl, Jessica has an almost inhuman ability with numbers. She is generally grounded and logical but tends to panic easily, and is subject to fanciful exaggerations as her anxiety increases. She is Summer Vargas’ roommate, which she initially found troubling but is coming to see as a plus, as the two become close friends.

Cherry Ashford

Year: Third

Concentration: History

Style: Immaculate preppy

Cherry Ashford is an astonishingly beautiful but somewhat withdrawn girl with whom nearly every boy at the academy has fallen in love with at some point. She keeps few friends, and thought she is known for being sweet she tends to keep to herself, often reading old books in the library by herself. Marcus Ellenbee is particularly infatuated with her.
